The Proposal
Steve surprised me with a trip to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote which holds many special memories for us.
On the first night, Steve suggested a sunset walk before dinner, down to the gorgeous marina. There wasn?t a person in sight and as I took photos of the amazing horizon, I turned around and Steve was on one knee. I?ll always look back on those photos with such happiness as it marked the moment we started a brand new chapter together. The Vision
The vision was to have simple moments of beauty and romance. So I kept our colour palette very neutral, with whites and creams but adding some contrast with the green foliage and gold.
I wanted soft textures, with flowing silks and soft pampas grass throughout. In many ways, we kept to tradition but added our own personal touches throughout.
Budget
Our original budget for the wedding was around £20k-£25k and we did pretty well in keeping to this. I had spreadsheets ...
