Wendy tells it, The wedding was lush, vibrant, a little moody, modern, and tropical in shades of dark teal, greenery, and bright, bubblegum pink. One of the main reasons we love Maui is that it is a tropical paradise so our main goal was to incorporate that lush island feel. We decided on dark teal as our color because it reminded us of the ocean. And the bright pink florals were the perfect contrast to all of the teals, greens, and blues.
They welcomed 60 guests to their destination wedding, and choose Olowalu Plantation House on Maui because it was private, on a beach, surrounded by palm trees, and had a giant pier looking out to the volcano in the distance. They also had personal memories in Olowalu which sealed the deal!
