The bride shared with us: «We met at a restaurant where we used to work together while studying our Masters degree in Manchester. We were friends for a while before we actually got together. It was a big step admitting we liked each other more than friends but it was worth it! Joe proposed on trip to Rome in front of the Trevi fountain. He took me to a side away from the crowd and pretended he was looking for change to throw in the fountain in his pocket. He said: “I don?t have any coins for the fountain but I have this (showing me the ring)- I hope you won?t throw it in the fountain”.»
