Rosy and George’s ‘Home Grown’ Rustic Feasting Farm Wedding in Devon by Jennifer Jane Photography
Today I am taking you back to the good old summer of 2018, when the sun shone, we were winning at football and everything in the world was good! Bring on the wedding of Rosy and George, who picked one of the most delightful days in the year to tie the knot. They did so in rustic farm glory by holding the ‘feasting reception’ on the grounds of Rosy’s parent’s farm. They describe their day as ‘home-made’ and hugely personal. Having the wedding on the farm meant that the food was all sourced from them, the meat and the veg! All cooked to perfection resulting in a true feast for their guests. Our wedding was a fusion of all our favourite things. A traditional English country wedding, a rustic feasting reception and a fabulous, festival, glittery glamping evening party.
Rosy and George were married on 7th July 2018 at Holy Trinity Church, Burrington, Devon and Higher Hacknell Farm, Burrington, Devon (brides parents farm) ‘I had always dreamed of holding the reception on my parents? farm, so it only seemed to be natural to get married in the local Church where I was christened and where I have many happy memories from primary school events.
