Rustic DIY Wedding at Home in the Peak District
There’s something so so special about a wedding at home, I always think how lucky couples are to be able to make everything completely personal in a meaningful location. WWW readers Lara and Max wed on the 13th May 2017 at the ever so sweet St Henry’s Hall, Derwent and followed this with a simply beautiful reception in a marquee at Lara’s parents’ home. It was no mean feat organising everything from New Zealand but luckily talented relatives were on hand to help! You can tell how much love and effort went into all the gorgeous details, think whimsical fairy lit ceremony backdrop, pallet bar and amazing florals all created by clever family.
It wasn’t all about the aesthetics though. Lara and Max wanted all of their guests to have a fantastic time and the bar was central to this. There was no chance of every couple’s nightmare coming true and the beer running dry! The backdrop is simply stunning too, the couple shots by the lake could have been taken in Italy. Lara looked just beautiful in her Anna Campbell Miranda Dress and Max was a John Lewis groom, but also included a very smart waistcoat from New Zealand where they currently live. Sit back and enjoy ALL the details.
Thank you so much Peakography Photography for these incredible images.
