“It was on May 23, 2014 in Khartoum, Sudan, at a common friend’s birthday party. Amelia came up to Nick and asked “who are you" why have I never seen you before"”. That was all it took. He was hooked. The chemistry was unquestionable, the attraction hypnotic. They danced that night and, after a shot of boozy confidence, Nick went for the kiss to end all kisses. The next morning, while he nursed his hangover and wondered whether he had indeed kissed the most beautiful being he had ever seen the night before (while stalking her Facebook page), he sent her a text message that made her catch her breath. Over the next week, they exchanged endless messages, until they met again at another house party (crazy city, Khartoum). There was no question of attraction then, no need for confidence shots. It was electric and, since that night, they became inseparable.
