Rustic Vintage Georgia Wedding at The Engine Room
Rustic charm and vintage elegance came together beautifully in Katie and Josh’s Georgia wedding at The Engine Room. The warehouse venue once housed the engines that ran the historic Monroe Cotton Mills and, although it has been fully restored and parts of the building have been updated with modern conveniences, it has retained its weathered characteristics and beauty. Because they tied the knot in autumn, the couple based their color palette around burgundy and navy blue, which made for striking wedding party attire complimented by gorgeous bouquets, cascading centerpieces, and overhead floral installations created by Daffodils Floral Design Studio. The bride wore a timeless high-neck, low-back lace dress from The Sentimentalist, which she paired with five ivory roses in a loose, low bun, and her bridesmaids’ mismatched solid and floral burgundy dresses are one of our all-time favorite looks! Every detail was perfectly curated for a rustic and vintage feel, and the heartfelt moments captured by Wild Heart Visuals made this Georgia wedding truly unforgettable. The Couple:

We wanted our guests to feel welcome and included in our day, because it was a group effort of our family and friends that made Josh and I’s relationship what it is. Overall, we wanted our wedding day to be a celebration of our story and everyone who was involved in it.
