Today’s wedding is set in one of the prettiest venues I have seen in a long time. The Secret Herb Garden in Edinburgh is a really special venue, a gorgeous garden perfect for an outdoor ceremony, with a stunning glasshouse reception area and barn. Ruth and David chose this venue as they were looking for a chilled out, rustic style venue with a relaxed and natural backdrop. Ruth wore a beautiful Temperley London gown which I just adore and the whole day has been captured by Mack Photo.
It was a relaxed wedding celebration that was very personal to us, and everyone we loved was there. These were the most important things to us.

Ruth and David were married on 26th August 2017. ‘We got married at The Secret Herb Garden in Edinburgh. The ceremony took place outside amongst the Apothecary Rose Beds, and the reception was in the Glasshouse, with dancing and merriment in the Barn afterwards. We both knew that we wanted a venue which was reflective of us, and that created a relaxed, natural atmosphere. It sounds like a cliché but after a week dedicated to visiting wedding venues, The Secret Herb Garden just felt right! We had 75 guests and it took 8 months to plan.’  
How they met 

We were both studying at University of Glasgow, and we met on the dance floor of ?Cheesy Pop? at the students union. The funny thing is neither of us of was supposed to go there that night but owing to their other plans falling through, we both ended up there with friend...
