Sarah and Harry’s Cornish Elopement By Amy Sampson Photography
Today I have something a bit different for you in the form of this gorgeous Cornish elopement. It’s a beautiful intimate day full of joy, smiles and the most amazing Cornish sunset. Sarah and Harry chose this beautiful location as it meant they could have a legal outdoor ceremony right next to the beach that they loved. With just a handful of friends with them to share their celebration, this wedding is as personal as they come. Big thanks to Amy from Amy Sampson Photography for the gorgeous images.
‘Relaxed, informal beach wedding that was about the 2 of us’
Sarah and Harry were married on 16th January 2016 at Whitsand Bay Fort Holiday Park. ‘Harry lifeguards at the local beaches for the RNLI and it’s one of our favourite spots in the South West. We had a total of 6 guests and it took 3 months to plan the wedding’
The Proposal
Harry proposed while we were on a coastal walk near noss mayo
How did you allocate your budget
A good photographer was one of the most important aspects as was the venue and the scope for doing something outside. I really wanted photos of us all on the beach and luckily the sunshine didn’t disappoint on the day!
Where did you splurge and where did you save
It was a very low key wedding so we didn’t particularly splurge anywhere, obviously the venue was the most expensive part of the day but we all stayed there for the night of the wedding and partied in the hot tub!
How did you choose ...
