Italian couple Elisa and Luca met while vacationing in Hydra and so it’s only natural to go back to the place where they first met to get married. They got Mitheo Events to plan their wedding remotely and it turned out to be an intimate and very beautiful occasion, perfectly captured by Mindart Photography.
From the neoclassical villa-turned-boutique hotel where the preparation of the bride took place and the courtyard of an isolated white-washed chapel on the top of a cliff to the olive garden that served as the reception venue, the island provided the ideal setting for their special day.
This wedding was inspired by the scenery, character and cosmopolitan vibe of Hydra island as well as the eclectic and chic personal style of the couple.

For the Catholic ceremony overlooking the ocean, simple and charming décor of olive branches and baby?s breath were used to compliment the tranquility of the environment. Straw hats and bamboo fans also helped the guests stay cool under the hot Mediterranean sun.
