Shopping for Bridesmaids Dresses | UK Wedding Blog

Last weekend, I got to take my girls out shopping for their Bridesmaid dresses.
It was something I?d been looking forward to for a while; trying on pretty dresses and celebrating with a few cocktails, and I can safely say it was a very successful trip!
I?d actually had my eye on some dresses from ASOS for a while ? if you?re on the hunt for Bridesmaid dresses, then pleeeease look on ASOS before you go anywhere else. Not only do they have their own collection (with a Bridal collection just launched too, FYI!), but they also stock brands such as Little Mistress, Chi Chi London and Jarlo, who all have gorgeous occasion dresses, so I was in my element.
I made an order on a couple of dresses I?d seen, but didn?t want to get my hopes up too high as they were only £75 each. Our plan was to get the train in to Nottingham, take the dresses with us and try them on with others in Debenhams, John Lewis, and House of Fraser. First stop was Debenhams, where we tried on an array of gorgeous dresses. I did actually fall in love with one particular dress, but it cost more than double of the ASOS number I?d ordered. So I asked them to try those ones on, and it?s safe to say, it was a firm ?yes? all around! Although the Debenhams dresses were nice, I couldn?t quite justify their price tag.
The ASOS dresses are by Little Mistress, and are a gorgeous dusky lavender colour. They have delicate embellishments on the top and will look stunning with the burgundy/purple/peach Autumnal colour sch...
