This intimate Shreveport wedding at The Magnolia Place channels simplicity, modernity, and romance! Brittney and Andy knew they wanted their closest friends and family to feel as included in their wedding day as possible, so they chose a charming event space to accommodate the small guest list and had family members cater the reception! A dreamy color palette of sage green, gold, and light pink allowed the couple to fill their venue with lovely details like greenery garlands, modern terrariums, and tons of florals. We chose our venue because the inside was beautifully decorated, big enough and small enough for the amount of people we wanted, and cost effective.
The most memorable part of the day was honestly, probably almost anything involving our son. He wasn’t feeling well that day so during the middle of the wedding ceremony Brittney and I were passing him back and forth holding him so he would be calm. Also, he was smack dab in the middle of us during our first dance!

Our advice: Keep it simple. If going big is what you want then do it but we chose a very small venue and invited only the people who mattered to us the most. Don’t go cheap on a photographer/videographer either. Sure, your cousin might have a decent camera with a little bit...
