Some Oldie but Goldie Registry Tips

Registry Tips for HBC
Mr. Horseshoe and I were at the mall last summer when I, on a whim, asked if he wanted to go create our registry at Hudson?s Bay Company. With little to no resistance, Mr. Horseshoe agreed and we were happily scanning away 10 minutes later. It feels kind of weird to register for gifts, but friends were starting to ask where we had registered—we wanted to provide them with some guidance.
We went home after registering, looked over our list, and promptly deleted a bunch of our ?scan happy? items. We probably should have sat down and made a list of things we wanted to add to our registry before we started scanning. That being said, maybe it?s not such a bad idea to scan things you like and trim your list later" We decided to only register at HBC as they had pretty much everything we wanted to register for. While I liked their product selection, I have to agree with Mrs. Narwhal that HBC?s registry website really isn?t the best. It?s especially frustrating to add items to your registry online. The items you can add online are limited at best—a lot of items and colours simply aren?t available for you to select from. If you register with HBC and you need to update your registry, you?re better off heading back to a store and scanning again.
