One of our fave things about wedding editorials is seeing how designers combine unlikely bits of inspiration to create an event that’s not only super cohesive, but totally achievable, too. When Frances of Prema sent these photos Laura Murray captured of her design + florals our way, we couldn’t help but think of how gorg her modern minimalist-meets-retro vignette would be for a spring bridal shower. How stunning is this bouquet" Frances says, We sought to align the modern minimalist look of the moment with subtle and playfully retro touches. The color palette of muted lavender and lilac, copper, ivory and chartreuse with the occasional richer accent color, nods to decades past and celebrates seasonal spring blooms such as lilac, ranunculus and double blooming tulips.
The team was all about embracing the season with this shoot. Their tip: Your bridal shower can be a time to choose a totally different muse than you and your partner’s wedding style, so don’t be afraid to highlight your fave season with the flowers and color palette.
