Dangly Bridal Earrings
Oh, how I just love me some accessories! Back when Mr. Sundae and I first got engaged, I was home with my family in Syracuse, New York. I had just finished shopping for my wedding dress and desperately wanted to nail down which earrings would look best while the look of the dress was still fresh in my mind. I couldn’t wrap my mind around not having the dress physically with me to try on while I tried on everything else, and it was slightly driving me bonkers. But I knew I had to buck up because I clearly couldn’t carry a wedding gown around the mall with me (or could I"). The thought truly had crossed my mind. Thankfully, it was fleeting thought!
My mom, cousin, sister, and I went back and forth to multiple stores, mostly to try on all that we could in the short amount of time that we had. We tried on shoes, necklaces, and earrings at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, JC Penney, and Swarovski. I say “we” because I didn’t want to try things on alone. I wanted them to try on some things as well. After all, they would need shoes and accessories, too! Midway through our shopping spree, I realized I didn’t want a necklace because I didn’t want to take away from the dress. Also, I’m wearing my hair down and sideswept, so I didn’t want the focus to be on my neck. So that decision made things a bit easier.
