Jeweled Bridal Hair Piece
I’ve been prepping to write this post for what has felt like forEVER! But unfortunately, as the wedding has gotten closer (only 18 days away—gasp!), I have found it harder and harder to find time to do anything BUT prep. I need to remember to stop and smell the roses, and to enjoy the little things leading up to it, like blogging.
So, without further ado: Back when I tried my dress on for the first time after purchasing, my family found so many little items that they wanted me to try on in addition to the dress. Dad really wanted me to have a beautiful jacket, Mom really wanted me to have a cathedral length veil, and MOH A (sister), really wanted me to have a beautiful hair piece. Thankfully, I loved each of these. We purchased the jacket and the veil that day, but as for the hair piece, I wanted to wait. The one that I tried on was $150. I just wasn’t willing to pay (or to ask someone else to pay) that price.
At my last fitting, we found a few more that we really liked.

Both of these were about the same price, again: $150. Rats. I still couldn’t bring myself to pay that. So again, I decided to leave the hair piece for a later date.
I went home and started searching on Etsy so that the image of the pieces were still fresh in my mind. I searched lace, crystal, and beaded pieces. Ultimately, I liked the way that the crystal pieces looked best, so I narrowed my search...
