After Tristan and I met a couple years back at another photography workshop, we knew it would be fun to collaborate again. I had been wanting to travel to the south east, so we decided to take the plunge and shoot for a small /intimate workshop environment. We chose a venue that was inherently southern, yet had the potential to photograph with a fresh, modern eye. Lowndes Grove was the perfect fit with it’s stately architecture and lush marsh view.
In preparation of the shoot, we compiled a team of amazing vendors that are undeniably leaders of their craft. Tristan and I made it a point ensure each vendor was present and could have a moment to discuss with the workshop students the types of images they love getting out of creative projects. The warmth and camaraderie from the day I think shows through in the photos. We could not be more happy with how smoothly the day ran, and are both excited to see how each student implements what they’ve learned / the things they photographed into their creative businesses.
