Alright, Cakies, it’s the first Friday in March, so it seemed only natural to kick it off with a springy (it’s coming! it’s coming!) honeymoon shoot… In Santorini, no less. London-based photographer Roberta Facchini and style bloggers Jessie & Jake have been insta-friends for sometime, but it wasn’t until they both happened to be traveling in Santorini that they got together in real life. Jessie wanted to fly her guy Jake in for a post-honeymoon portrait sesh, which Roberta was all about. The result" A sweet, whimsical set of portraits for them to remember their travels by.

Roberta says, As I had shot many couples already in Santorini, I wanted to create something a bit different for them, I envisioned an uber romantic and intimate shoot for them, with some pastel balloons and lots of hopping around rooftops, and that’s what we did. In October we were lucky to find the island less packed then usual so we had all the village for ourselves.

It may just look a little breezy in the photos, but it was actually so windy that the crew couldn’t even hear each other talk over it! So it was pretty impressive that Roberta and her couple were able to get the shots just right on this roof.

We ended our session at the top of an abandoned church, for me the most beautiful and secluded spot of the island, watching the sunset toget...
