So Mike and I are now at the 6-month countdown. I?m trying to stop myself wishing my life away but September 17th can?t come quick enough. Firstly (and mostly) because I haven?t had a good night?s sleep since the night we got engaged (brain in overdrive!) and secondly because I?m so freakin? excited. I am really enjoying planning this wedding but I have no patience either!
We do have lots planned in over the next 6 months to keep us busy though. We?ll be going to 3 weddings, one of which will be my cousins in Sorrento that we?re making a week?s holiday out of, a friend?s hen party (me), a friends stag do (Mike), a visit to our venue over Easter to discuss draping, flowers and food, a work trip to Ibiza (me again) and of course our own hen and stag weekends. My sisters are both planning my hen party as part of their Maid of Honour duties and are keeping it completely secret from me. I usually hate surprises and always have to be the first to know everything so it?s paining me a little not knowing what?s going on. All I?ve been told is to book a day and a half off work in August and they?ll let me know what to pack a couple of days before it happens?intriguing. I?m learning not to think into it too much and let myself enjoy the surprise, for once in my life.
Mike?s plans are also underway with his two best men (I think!). He briefed them on what he would ideally like to do (hike up a few mountains) but we?re not yet sure what?s actually been planned. Though Mike?s much bette...
