Hello WWW readers! I hope you are all enjoying the summer and the little bits of sunshine we are getting! My son finishes school next week for the summer holidays which is scary! I can?t believe how quickly the school year has gone – I?m very aware that before long it?ll be September again! This month we have been researching and beginning our DIY projects for the wedding. My lavender has been planted in the garden, although the plants are very small, so I?m not sure if I might have to invest in some more developed plants! I have no idea how fast lavender grows so I guess I will just wait and see for now!
I made some fab gold sparkly letters too! These were sooo simple to make, I would really recommend it to even the most reluctant of crafters! I just bought cardboard letters from my local craft shop and used gold spray paint as a base coat, and then did two top coats of gold glitter spray paint. Easy peasy! I am super pleased with the results too! The base coat colour I used was called ?Antique Gold? which I think looked lovely even without the glitter! If you do give this a try, I would recommend buying a couple of extra tins of paint. It?s quite surprising how quickly you get through it, especially if like me you...
