Ashley and Will hosted their engagement party this month which sounded really rather lovely. I think it’s a great idea to ask your bridal party to be involved in your wedding at your engagement do. They also ticked off important wedmin and started looking into choosing their florist, eekk xo Lou
 

 
At the moment I feel like we are still enjoying the newly engaged bubble, I really hope that it continues to feel this way. We are both loving planning our big day and we are both full of ideas which is super exciting! I love that Will is so involved and enthusiastic about the planning process, it certainly helps to be working as a team. We have had our engagement party which was so much fun! We threw it for ourselves, I know it?s not traditional but it?s what we wanted! Our closest friends joined us at our house for pork rolls and drinks – Will asked one of his friends to be best man (who accepted), and another friend to be a groomsman (also accepted!). It was a lovely evening filled with friendship, love and laughter. As time goes on, I feel like we are getting more and more into the swing of wedding planning. Although I do think I spend way more time browsing Pinterest and WWW real weddings than actually getting anything done! We have visited no less than two wedding fairs recently. I found this really interesting, I loved having the opportunity to meet suppliers and speak to them in person. Plus, there are cake samples galore – I love any excuse ...
