Hello lovely WWW readers! I can?t believe I am saying this but we are now (just about) a mere month away from our wedding! I am so excited, a bit nervous, and also so ready to be married! I feel like I have been planning this one day forever (19 months in reality!), and I can?t wait to see the result of all of our planning and hard work!
This past month we have mainly been sorting out all of the fiddly little bits that it always seems too soon to sort out until you get closer to the wedding. Our venue requires that we use only natural petal confetti, so we have ordered some from Adam Apple Confetti, and then decanted this into little glassine envelopes. We have read a lot online that you need to allow around 1 litre of petals per 10 guests, which may be true for filling larger cones, but we found that 4 litres of petals filled around 80 glassine envelopes! So we were really pleased to have extra – as far as I am concerned, the more petals the better!

I have also been cracking on with sewing ties for our bridal party. I decided to make ties (having never made one before, sensible I know!), as I couldn?t find ties in the right colour for less than £20 or so per tie, and I found the perfect coloured fabric in Liberty for only £16 per metre, and I only needed two metres to make the six ties needed, plus a different print of fabric for William and my son Samson. So all in all it has worked out cheaper. Just a warning though, it is time cons...
