Autumn Vibes
Autumn is without doubt my favourite season. One of the reasons Ian and I have chosen to get married at the end of August is because (aside from the fact that it?s when we met) the changing of the seasons from summer to autumn is just so magical. The colour of the leaves, the freshness in the air, the promise of cosy blankets and hot chocolates in front of a roaring fire, divine!
Life Happens
It?s also hard to believe that it?s been so long since my last post but in the spirit of honesty, I must say, life has somewhat scuppered my intentions for wedding related jollity in the last couple of months. My dad was taken seriously ill in mid August, and Ian?s grandmother the same in September. Then a month ago, I had a severe relapse of my M.E and have been practically housebound ever since. I know people come to this blog to read about the excitement in the planning process for a wedding and bare with me because there are lovely things to discuss but sometimes I think we need to also be realistic about the fact that while couples are busy planning weddings, life also happens and sometimes, it?s OK to take a break.
