Hi fellow wedding planners!
It feels like a lifetime since I last updated you on my wedding plans, but so much has been going on I haven?t had a second to sit and write it all down!
With the wedding now less than 5 months away family and friends have really upped the ante in terms of helping us get together all the fun elements of the wedding recently. Things like décor, tablescapes, alcohol, hay bales?(!)

Ian and I have also been hard at work writing our humanist ceremony, vows, and choosing readings ? we hope what we?ve put together will reflect our journey and our relationship so far.
My mum and mum-in-law to be recently attended an open day for our marquee company with me, unfortunately Ian couldn?t come because he was on a stag (more on that later!) but it turned into a really fun girls day out. I felt my heart flutter a little when I walked into the marquee that we will be having on our big day ? because for the first time I could actually start to imagine what we?ve been planning for so long. Because our day is totally DIY it?s been hard to actually visualise what it will all look like on the day, but I think that?s part of the excitement too! It was also nice for the mums to get a glimpse of it. It was a lovely day, lovely to see our excellent wedding co-ordinator Emma again, and I also happened to bump into our bar man for the day ?
