It has been ever so exciting in the Dyson-Hughes household. Invites have gone out, and come back in again, so things are really getting exciting! I had deemed RSVPs, specifically the card version, unimportant, but how wrong I was… We provided both an address and an email, and not that I am fussed for whichever response our guests choose, I totally underestimated how exciting getting RSVP cards through the post is. We have some pretty amazing friends and family who have gone to town on this, with cards to match our wedding style/theme, cards to match us as a pair and personality and even PERSONALISED RSVP cards, it really has started to make it feel all real as opposed to just a day of giving lots of companies our money!
Alongside the invites going out, it also means that people have been booking their accommodation. Given the festival feel of the wedding, our tipi company, Magical Events, provide bell tents to hire and enough friends and family have hired these for us to create a bell tent village! We also have log cabins that groups and families are staying in so far and we have full on campers. It’s just all coming together.
