2 days. 3 towns. 4 appointments. Endless dresses. 
You heard me correctly. I went and tried on a wonderful amount of dresses in the space of two days.
From day one I have always wanted a short dress. I’m in a field for the majority of my day, and the castle requires me to get up some spiralling stairs, so I’ve spent a long time researching styles, dresses, designers and most importantly, shops local to me. Being in Essex, I have quick access to London so heading there isn’t a problem and I’d whittled it down to four places.  

 
First stop: Candy Anthony.
Set upon London’s Embankment, within the OXO Tower Wharf, this cute boutique makes vintage-style dresses made to measure. Greeted by Rachel, we chatted through what I envisioned (and what a clear vision I had), the style of the wedding day, and revealed those all important Ted Baker shoes (please see my last blog post for those beauties!) Rachel disappeared to grab dresses; out came layers and layers for me to put on and this was pretty much how the appointment went.
