I love summer. And this summer has fast become one of my favourites. We took a surprise trip to Poland with my parents and my brother for my mum?s birthday. We got to reminisce a lot about my Polish grandad, eat brilliant food, have brilliant chats and take in all the gorgeousness of Warsaw.
 

My very favourite thing about summer is festivals. Since I was 17 I haven?t missed an opportunity to cover myself in glitter and dance around in a field with all of my favourite people. This summer was no exception, and the reason for the trip was even more special. It was my beautiful friend?s Mel?s hen do, we went on a girly trip to Kendal Calling.  Just when I thought it couldn?t get any better what made the festival even more fabulous was that after three days of perfect girl time we were joined by some brilliant gate crashers – our lads! My finace Tom?s band, Camp Stag, were playing at the festival so we got a chance to meet up with my future groom and some of our ushers which only added to the fun! The next time I?ll see the band live they?ll be playing our wedding (minus Tom as understandably he doesn?t particularly want the added pressure of playing a gig on his wedding day).
