We are only two weeks away from our big day now and feeling so, so excited!
Today I wanted to share a few of my favourite pictures from our recent pre-wedding shoot with our photographer, the brilliant Rachel Joyce Photography.
I found Rachel after seeing a Facebook friend’s wedding photos online and absolutely loving them. I then discovered that Rachel was from the same home town as me, we shared mutual friends and she’d shot the weddings of loads of people I knew. I just had to book her!
It also helped that she shoots just the style we were looking for and is great company too – we felt like we were walking round the park with a friend during our engagement shoot, which put us totally at ease. The shoot also introduced us to a beautiful location I’d not known of before: Avenham Park in Preston, Lancashire. Isn’t it just stunning"!
We learned a lot during our shoot so I’d definitely recommend having one to make sure you’re at ease on your big day – luckily ours was included in the package we booked with Rachel.
So I hope you like the pictures as much as we do. I’ve already printed a few! I just can’t wait to see what Rachel captures on the day.
