Five months to go ? yippee!
Our 2016 has gotten off to a good start, with Jamie starting ? and loving ? his new career in teaching. And more good news: one of my bridesmaids, Aisling, has just gotten engaged too, and is excitedly planning her September wedding.
As for our plans, they are slowly coming together. We?ve got the invites ? I?ll blog about this next month once I?ve actually sent them ? we?ve chosen our menu, and even set up our gift list. And yes, Debenhams did point out I was about three months too early, but never mind? We also made the most of the January sales by shopping for honeymoon clothing (summer clothing is a bargain when you?re shopping out of season) and even bagging giant-sized tubs of sweets which we plan to decant into jars for each table to enjoy at the reception.
Determined to keep my excitement going for the next five months, we?ve also been researching our honeymoon. We?ll be spending three weeks in Thailand, and after initially being a little daunted about the prospect of Bangkok, I officially can?t wait. We?ve been watching YouTube videos of people visiting elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai and lazing on the beaches of Koh Samui and Koh Tao too, and I?m raring to go!
