Sophie has two big jobs ticked off of her wedding to do list this month. Sophie and Jamie choose the cutest invitations, which are now all sent out. Plus she had her hair and make up trial. It’s not long to go now, YAY xo Lou

 
The invites are sent, I’ve picked my hair and make-up styles and the parties are beginning. It’s all happening!
Jamie and I looked at what felt like hundreds of invitations on Notonthehighstreet and Etsy before we ordered a couple of samples. I’m so glad we did that, because actually holding them in your hands and feeling their quality (or lack there of!) was much better than taking a punt.
 

 
After seeing it in the flesh, we fell in love with the ‘something blue’ set from Something New Stationery on Etsy. We love its rustic feel, the recycled card, the matching string and tags – it feels like an event in all its glory! And the designer, Jenni, was absolutely brilliant, helping me to decide on the wording, dispatching everything with super speed and even being on hand to sort out any extras we found ourselves short of. I’ve also ordered a ‘cards’ sign from Jenni and will be going back to her for our table plan!  

 
Our guests have all commented on how much they liked them too. And to keep costs down, instead of adding information and RSVP cards we’ve instead set up a Gettingmarried.co.uk website to direct everyone to for more information.
