Hiya! My name is Ruth and I’m a 26 year newly engaged person from Staffordshire. My fiancée (still haven?t got used to saying that) Tom is studying for his PHD in American Studies and I work for a charity supporting people experiencing homelessness. We?re getting married in October this year and I’m well excited to have the opportunity to capture all the planning madness on WWW.
How We Met
 
In 2005, when I was 16. I sat by a boy in my English class at sixth form.  In the first lesson he said something about a character in a book being ‘a pragmatist’, I had no idea what the word meant, but I wanted to know who the boy was. After a few lessons I passed him a fairly naff drawing of David Bowie in the 1990s cult classic the Labyrinth we became best friends and the rest is history. Tomos and I have been partners in crime for nine years, we’ve done long distance, we’ve travelled the world together, we’ve had loads of adventures and it seemed like the right time to celebrate the last almost-decade with a wedding.
