A sea of white blossoms on an unseasonably warm day; a lavender ball gown topped with a crown of fresh flowers; a sweet couple vowing to love one another, all because the groom took a risk to get the girl…sounds like a fairy tale to us! When their mutual friend showed him a photo of Ann and offered to make the introduction, Eugene declined. Instead, he took the initiative and sent her a message out of the blue. Ann agreed to meet him at a restaurant where, unbeknownst to the two of them, Eugene would one day propose. He asked for her hand in December, on Ann’s birthday, and they began planning an April wedding the very next day.
