Claire Pettibone recently launched The Four Seasons couture collection in New York City and we?re completely ENAMORED. Inspired by the famed Art Nouveau artist, Alphonse Mucha, Claire modeled her collection after his iconic paintings of ladies that represent the four seasons. ?The Seasons’ series by Mucha features ladies draped in gorgeous textiles, their flowing hair decorated by flowers or topped with a golden halo; they are surrounded by lush florals and greenery and the subtle yet striking use of color creates such a compelling harmony. All of these aspects come through in Claire?s designs – with her focus on nature, she creates eye-catching textures through intricate embroidery, and truly captures the irresistible force of each season.
