Oh bees, I?ve had to rewrite this entry 1,454,215,113 times. I alluded to it in my save-the-date post, but my invitations were by far the most stressful part of wedding planning thus far. Let?s start from the beginning, though…
At the same meeting when we ordered our save the dates, we also looked at hundreds of options for our invitations. The only thing I knew for sure is I wanted them to feel like a complete, cohesive set. Prior to this meeting, Auntie Collage did some recon at a few other stationers and found these two, which I was immediately drawn to. Simple, whimsical, and fun!

Keeping our budget in mind, we determined a design like this would be the most cost-effective option (as opposed to adding letterpress, laser cut designs, etc.). We talked over the details: turquoise front, white background with coral design on the back, rounded corners, all to be tied together with baker?s twine. Great, the deposit was paid and we went on our merry way.
We sent our save the dates out in January, so in early February we asked More Than Words about getting the process started for our invites. They responded quickly and gave us a list of questions to answer about wording, exact times, locations, colors, etc. This was the point where things started to unravel.
