The Letter: Save the Dates
Oh, how I love this song from Billy Elliot. And like the song lyrics, obtaining my stationery was quite the emotional journey. You guys have been with me through our date debacle and Mori Lee–gate 2016, but neither of those even remotely compare to how stressful this damn paper was. Let me explain. As far as wedding stationery goes, I?m pretty indifferent. I do like pretty paper and scrapbooking, but the overwhelming amount of options out there can make it hard to narrow down! Every time I?d bring up Minted or Wedding Paper Divas and start scrolling through their designs, I?d get bored after like three pages.
Luckily for us, Mr. Dreamcatcher has an aunt who LOVES all things paper. Let?s call her Auntie Collage. She really wanted to help us design our wedding stationery, and we were glad to accept her offer! Although I planned to just get all paper products online, Auntie Collage was ADAMANT we go through an actual stationer. If I was a time traveler, I would go back to this moment and gracefully decline, because the source of all my stress was the company we ordered from.
