When we last left our couple they had just finished their first look and wedding-party photos…

This is currently Mr. Eel’s lock screen photo on his iPhone. ?

Prior to the wedding, I made it clear that a priority for our wedding was spending time with each other and our guests, as opposed to taking posed pictures. I wanted our photographers to capture lots of candid photos after the ceremony and reception. Because of this, Mr. Eel and I took our “intimate” bride and groom photos immediately after our first look so that we would have the rest of the day posed-photo free. (Which actually turned out not to be true since we had to take family photos immediately after the ceremony.)
Kualoa Ranch Moli’i Gardens has a beautiful pier overlooking the pond. Since it’s a pond, the water isn’t exactly the clearest, but it still made for some nice photos. Our wedding ceremony area was rather small, but the Kualoa Ranch Moli’i Gardens property is a nice size overall so we got lots of photos with different backdrops and scenery.

What originally attracted me to our photographer’s style is his ability to see unique angles and viewpoints. You’ll see a lot more of that in our upcoming pictures.
