It was time for my favorite part of the night—our reception! I wanted to be sure to save plenty of time for dancing, so we had an informal program throughout our plated dinner service.

Warning: This post is going to be picture heavy because, hey, a picture speaks a thousand words!
We started off the program introducing our wedding party, and for the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Eel. As I mentioned in a previous post, we had a modified head table with our wedding party plus significant others. This worked out perfectly for us as our entire wedding part is married, engaged, or in a serious relationship.
After a short invocation (and maybe a few shots), our waitstaff began dinner service with our first course of salad, and our maid of honor and best man gave their speeches.

Needless to say, their speeches were awesome and shared both embarrassing and tender moments with Mr. Eel and me.
