Rustic Wedding Cakes
This post is dedicated to…cake, because…who doesn’t love cake"! Well, a lot of people I’m sure, actually, but I’m not one of them, that’s for sure!
I feel like searching for the cake was one of the very first things we did in planning the Ice Cream Sundae wedding. It was probably one of the things that I pinned most on my vision board. That being said, because I had changed the theme slightly from rustic to romantic, I really had to home in on those cakes that fit.
Once we had figured out we were going to be having the wedding in Syracuse, it was time for us to search for a baker. My criteria was definitely 1. beautiful designs, 2. good price, 3. tasty. (This had to be last because we were searching for our baker from quite the distance.) I started searching and found a few rustic wedding cakes that I really liked. I wanted to have several cakes for Mr. Sundae to choose from so that he didn’t become overwhelmed by the possibilities.

Absolutely love the look of this cake. Not only do the flowers feature one of our colors, but the entire look is definitely what I was going for. Breathtaking!
