The Perfect Dress: Pins vs. Reality

Like Mrs. Black Cat (and probably every other modern bride getting married in the last few years), I had a Pinterest board dedicated to wedding gowns. My journey began with me pinning dresses that I thought I?d like to try on when it came time for me to shop for my gown.
Looking back at my initial pins and seeing how my taste evolved over time has been interesting. What?s even more interesting is that I ended up with a gown that?s not at all like the ones I had initially pinned.
I was initially in love with column gowns made of soft tulle or chiffon. Dreamy and bohemian was the name of my game.

I then discovered the pin on the far right that spurred me into my soft, blush phase. Column gowns were replaced with romantic A-line or ballgowns with soft lace detailing.

I then became obsessed with blush gowns with sparkly, embellished bodices after I decided to watch Gilmore Girls again and became re-obsessed with Lorelai?s wedding gown.
