After much anticipation, I am finally ready to reveal our venue choice! We chose *drum roll* Kualoa Ranch Moli’i Gardens! There were many reasons we ultimately decided on this location, but in the end, it all came back to the alcohol. My top two choices were Moli’i Gardens and Waimea Valley Palm Meadow, but the deciding factor was the fact that Moli’i Gardens would let us bring in our own alcohol, whereas Waimea Valley required us to use their bar services.

I also loved the fact that this was one of the few locations we looked at that had separate ceremony and reception areas. As I previously mentioned, I really wanted our guests to have a grand reveal of our reception space because in my mind our reception tent will be may-jor. Here’s a closer look at our ceremony area. As you can see, it’s a pretty small space; the stairs going up will take our guests to the reception area.
