Monday started off well with the arrival of a new Jo Malone scent. You may have seen this on instagram but I thought I would pop here too. One of the best things about most of the Jo Malone perfumes is that whilst they are lovely on their own, they turn in to something exceptionally special when layered. If you’re not a fan on floral/violet smells you wont like this one but the sandalwood really deepens it to make it very warm and less powdery. I layered under Blackberry and Bay then under Dark Amber and Gingerlily. Both smelt amazing. Next time you are in a JM, mention the scents you already have and ask which would compliment it, I love that it makes your perfume wardrobe even more versatile.
Whilst swanning round smelling of sensual violets and blackberries, I made myself some of my beloved rice flake porridge. Went to add cinnamon…added smoked paprika.
