The couple hosted their wedding at the groom’s family home in New South Wales, and they created elegant vibes at their reception with warm, bespoke details like hanging floral installations, tons of candlelight, and great speeches. Tim‘s family have a beautiful property in the NSW Southern Highlands, which we always thought was a perfect spot for the wedding. The property has significance for us both, in part because it was where we spent many weekends together when we lived in different cities for a period. Autumn is also a striking time in this area, and we knew the property would look stunning.
Our advice: Find suppliers you like and trust, and feel you have a personal connection with. Know that no matter how organised you are, it will still be a mad rush with 2 months to go. Keep things in perspective – don’t make small decisions big issues. Enjoy the journey as well as the outcome!
