The couple lives in Australia but went on a recent trip to James’s native country of South Africa and fell in love with Boschendal Estate‘s gorgeous vineyards, classic architecture, and mountain views. Zoe and James chose a floral design with an emphasis on natural greenery to complement the area’s scenery, and made décor and fashion decisions based on their love for the old Hollywood aesthetic. The most important part of planning was that EVERYONE had the best day! With so many people flying across the world to be at our wedding we wanted to make sure that it was not only the most special day to us but they also would have an amazing day.

James is South African and he took me there in 2014 for a friend’s wedding. I fell in LOVE with Franschhoek and I knew that I wanted to get married there. It was also so special to be able to have his family and friends who are for the majority still there be able to join us and for my Australian friends and family to get to experience what is now such a special place to the two of us.
