This Headlands Center for the Arts Wedding is As Sweet as Can Be
When Sarah and Jon visited Headlands Center for the Arts as a potential wedding venue, it was love at first sight. Drawing inspiration from the arts center’s creative energy, the couple chose a minimal vibe and incorporated meaningful, artistic elements to represent themselves as individuals and as a couple. Ampersand flower shop used bright pops of color in the floral arrangements, which made the space feel fresh and natural, and worked perfectly with the couple’s pink and gold color palette. Amy Winningham Photography did a masterful job capturing every sweet detail while focusing on the romantic big picture of this beautiful day!

Jon?s sister made the altar hanging with twine, a hula hoop, straws, spray paint, and fishing line. We added the air plants after.
Our advice to other couples is to take time to focus on the relationship. It was easy to get distracted by the work, details, and stress of the event, that sometimes we lost sight of why we were having the event in the first place. We took some days to just have fun with one another with no wedding tasks involved. Also, do your research. There are a lot of good resources out there with tons of information!
For the table names, we went around SF taking photos and printed them out. We also collected wine bottles and cut corks to hold the photos.
