Farmhouse charm gets an European glam make-over in this wedding at Kildara Farms. Carrie and Kyle immediately fell in love with the barn venue, but didn’t want the traditional rustic vibe associated with barn weddings. Carrie, who decorated the entire space, drew inspiration from her and Kyle’s travels and incorporated antique details – from teapots and vases to wax seals – into the reception decor. The bride was a glam bombshell in a beaded ballgown by The White Peony, which she paired with a simple half-up hairstyle. My wedding dress wasn’t what I thought I would have picked, but when I saw it I knew it was the one! It was a princess style, which some may think was too formal for an outdoor/farm wedding, so I kept my hair and accessories simple. I bought antique costume jewelry from a local antique dealer.

We DIYed almost everything! We searched thrift and antique stores every weekend for months finding all of our antique silver and crystal table decor.
