This Maroon Bells Amphitheatre Wedding Proves That Intimate Affairs Can Be Totally Epic
If you needed any more convincing that small weddings can be just as breathtaking and epic as their larger counterparts, then Larissa and Patrick’s Aspen wedding is for you! The couple’s 12 guests were treated to spellbinding mountain views at a Maroon Bells Amphitheatre outdoor ceremony then whisked away to complete the evening with an intimate dinner at The Little Nell. Larissa and Patrick knew they wanted to highlight the natural beauty that Colorado’s landscapes have to offer, so their color palette was kept delicate and organic with a blush pink gown and romantic pastels. Aaron and Whitney Photography captured the couple’s day beautifully, including a fun trash the dress session at the base of the Maroon Bells mountains!
The Couple: Larissa and Patrick
The Wedding:
Maroon Bells Amphitheatre & The Little Nell, Aspen, Colorado
In planning our wedding, our main goal was that it be a fun, relaxed wedding that brought our families together.
We chose our venue because it was beautiful, it fit our budget – only $200 for the entire day, and we didn’t have to deal with any onsite coordinators or vendors. It was like reserving a campsite! Very relaxed and hands-off from an administrative perspective.
We wanted a romantic and organic wedding. No harsh colors like white or black. We went with blush pink for the wedding dress and gray for the Groom’s suit. Nothing posed or forced. Just real moments with our favor...
