Charmaine and Scott’s Hawaii wedding at Olowalu Plantation House was as classic and timeless as could be! The couple knew they didn’t want anything trendy for their special day so that, when they look back on these stunning photos from Water Gypsies Photography, they love them as much as they do today. With that goal in mind, the couple tasked Opihi Love with helping them create a charming setup for their ceremony with cafe lights and lanterns strung through the trees and elegant design for their reception with cream-colored linens, minimal gold table decor, and simple white floral centerpieces created by Lois Hiranaga Floral Design. The stunning grounds of the plantation truly spoke for itself, so they didn’t need to add much decor to create an incredible look. Plus, easy access to the waterfront afforded them the opportunity for some killer newlywed photos along with the classic portraits! The Couple:

For our wedding, we had 3 major goals we wanted to hit: good food, good drinks, and good entertainment.

Our advice for couples that are planning their own weddings is simple: don’t become a crazy person. Stay true to yourself and set a budget!
