This pale mint + blush editorial defines spring 2019 wedding trends
Happy February, friends! Let’s talk spring wedding trends: We’re seeing pastels reimagined in a major way this year, from the coral + jade in this bridal editorial to this stained glass shoot from last month. It’s pretty clear that spring 2019 is all about pale pastels and soft earth tones. And we can’t say we’re not into it! So here’s another fresh example for ya: a mint + blush color story coming to us from Rachel of Daylynn Designs + Tiahna Lynn Photography. All the pale pastels paired with rose gold and seaside vibes are just too good and you’ll see why:
Rachel of Daylynn Designs mixed a Palm Springs vibe with their coastal setting through the prettiest pale mint + blush hues. She says, This intentional use of seafoam blue tied together both the natural hues of the ocean and the color of arid plants, like aloe and cacti, that are found in Palm Springs territory. Katie Murphy from Bloom 52. was also quickly inspired by this concept, and through the use of both sea urchins (coastal) and air plants (desert), the decorative elements of the floral concept quickly came full circle. The unexpected use of exotic flowers paired with dried elements and the freshest rose blooms created an effortless interest through both color palette and texture.
Smitten with these paper elements Riddy Quinney of Ridgely Calligraphy dreamt up for their seaside setting.
Rose gold is a pretty magical accent tone for mint + blush...
