Nestled along the banks of the Hartbeespoort Dam, this private neighborhood held special meaning for the couple throughout their dating years, so it was a dream come true when they got to transform the space into their perfect wedding venue. Inspired by the natural setting and the warm colors of figs, which topped the wedding cake created by Essen Eatery, they chose a color palette of marsala, light pink, maroon, and sage green for the flowers and added only minimal décor to personalize the space. Our venue was a place where Bernard‘s family has been going to for the past 20 years. They have a family house there, so we have been going to Kosmos since we started dating. We decided to start the rest of our lives together at this special place. It’s not an official wedding venue but with hard work, lots of help, and planning we made it work.
