This Virginia elopement is a powerful celebration of love
Andrea & Patrick streamed a simple and sweet virtual wedding at home this year, in the midst of the pandemic and the movement on Black Lives Matter. They had a lovely day, just the two of them and their pup, full of meaning and love. Andrea is a registered nurse, and Patrick a former nurse, so they made the decision to celebrate without their families and friends physically present, but that didn’t stop them from having a magical day. She says, “It was a tough decision, but the safest one we felt for our situation. The simplicity allowed for us to celebrate a quaint joining of hearts in a home we hope to keep for many years to come. We are ultimately just grateful to have the support of our loved ones at this time, and couldn?t bear the risk of jeopardizing their health and welfare for what we felt would be a glorified party.?
